Maximum odds: 9.0 decimal (8/1 fractional)
Higher odds create excessive liability risk. Even if the AI identifies value, protecting your bankroll comes first. Our race cards display warnings when selections exceed this threshold.
Place Lays
Maximum odds: 12.0 on the PLACE MARKET BSP (not the win price!)
A horse might be 100-1 to win, but the place market odds would be around 20-25.0. You'd skip this as it exceeds our 12.0 place limit. Our race cards display warnings when selections exceed this threshold.
The 1-5% Liability Rule
Never risk more than 1-5% of your total bankroll on any single lay bet's liability.
Example: £1000 Bankroll
- Max liability per bet: £10-50
- At 5.0 place odds: Max stake would be £10-50 ÷ 4 = £2.50-12.50
- Skip any selection where the place market liability exceeds your threshold
